Mom & Baby - Adult - Seniors
Boogie Babies is a joyful, low-impact dance-based fitness program for parents and babies aged 6 weeks to 4 years. It's a mom and baby class designed to get you moving, laughing, and connecting. Our classes use easy-to-learn dance routines to help build strength; improve balance, coordination, and flexibility; boost energy, and bond with your baby - all in a welcoming, judgment-free space. No dance experience? No problem! Our moves are simple, fun, and made for everyone.
DanceFit is perfect for babies under one year, (usually 6 weeks and up) and/or who can be worn in a carrier for an hour - moms dance while the little ones come along for the ride. BUT Carriers are not mandatory at all! If you choose to hold your baby, or let them play on the floor (padded play-space and toys provided), that is perfectly fine!
Beyond the workout, these classes are all about community. You'll meet other moms, share stories, and find support through every phase of early parenthood. And your baby will love it too - dancing, music, and movement all help stimulate their developing brains and bring lots of joy.
We also offer baby-free Adult Dance classes for those looking to workout and have fun, that and a GentleFit program for those looking to stay active at a less intense level .

This 60-minute class is designed for parents with babies aged 6 weeks and up. You can wear your baby in a carrier, hold them, or leave them to play on their own. Each session includes a warm-up, dance instruction with repetition, and a cool-down. You will learn unique and fun routines, set to upbeat, popular music, using moves perfectly suited to postnatal fitness and baby-wearing.
Beyond the movement, this mom and baby class fosters connections and community, providing a space to meet other parents, share stories, and seek advice. Classes take place at various dance studios around the GTA, virtual, or you can arrange private group sessions in your own home!
These adult-only dance classes are designed for anyone who loves to move - or wants to love it again. Blending hip hop and jazz with a playful touch of Broadway flair, each class offers energizing, but easy-to-learn choreography, great music, and a supportive, no-pressure atmosphere.
Classes are intentionally adaptable. You’ll learn choreography that is accessible and easy to follow, with optional layers and challenges for those who want to push a little further. Whether you’re returning to dance after years away or simply looking for a joyful, full-body workout, you’ll be able to move at your own pace while still feeling challenged and accomplished.
Each one-hour class focuses on coordination, strength, cardio, and musicality - without taking itself too seriously. Expect to sweat, laugh, and leave feeling energized, confident, and proud of what your body can do.
Classes are offered in Thornhill and Toronto and are open to adults of all ages and experience levels. You can also join our Virtual Classes; safe for baby wearing, but a great workout, even without the baby!

These low-impact, adult dance classes are designed for those who want to keep moving, stay active, and enjoy great music in a supportive, feel-good environment. Whether you’ve never taken a formal dance class or you’re the first one on the dance floor at weddings and bar mitzvahs, this is your space to move with confidence and have fun doing it.
Classes focus on simple, easy-to-follow routines inspired by jazz, modern, and Broadway styles, with movements that gently work the whole body. The choreography is designed to be approachable and effective, helping to build coordination, strength, balance, and mobility - all at a comfortable pace.
Every class is intentionally adaptable. Movements can be modified to accommodate injuries, limitations, or different fitness levels, so you can participate in a way that feels right for your body. There’s no pressure to “keep up” - just an opportunity to enjoy the music, learn something new, and feel good while doing it.
Expect a welcoming, social atmosphere where you can laugh, move, and leave feeling energized, accomplished, and uplifted.
Classes are offered in Thornhill, Vaughan, and Toronto, and are open to adults looking for a fun, accessible way to stay active -- no dance experience required.

Boogie Babies has an exciting and energetic, 30-minute, dance-based fitness class for 2-4 year olds. The kids are having too much fun to realize they are actively improving their gross motor skills, balance, and coordination. With new elements and activities each visit, the kids will never get bored. Weekly classes are a perfect addition to your daycare or preschool physical education program. Deb has been dancing since she was 4 years old and hasn’t really stopped since. She started teaching dance at 14 and kept it up all through high school and university. Over the years, she’s worn a lot of hats in the performing arts world - from choreographing and performing in 8 years of shows with the Unsung Heroes troupe to choreographing CHAT productions, to working with the Chicken Coop Theatre Company, where she eventually ran the kids’ division for 5 years.
Outside the studio, Deb received her honours degree in Kinesiology from Western (2001) and went on to earn her Occupational Therapy degree from Queen’s (2005). She brings a strong understanding of how the body works into everything she teaches. She’s passionate about movement, health, and helping others feel strong and capable in their own bodies.
When Deb became a mom (she has two kids - now teenagers, and three step-kids in their 20s), she taught mom-and-baby dance classes during both of her maternity leaves. That’s where the idea for Boogie Babies really took root - a way to reconnect with dance, move meaningfully with your baby, and build a community of moms who are in it together.
